about styled for the setlist

Concert outfits should feel like part of the experience.

Styled for the Setlist is a concert-style destination built around the artists, eras, and aesthetics shaping the shows you’re excited to see.

Each edit starts with the artist – their current music, tour visuals, stage style, album artwork, and the little references fans with recognize – and turns that inspiration into outfits you can actually wear. The goal isn’t to create a costume or copy an artist from head-to-toe. It’s to capture the energy of the era while still looking like yourself.

I’m Kelly, the person behind Styled for the Setlist. I go to a lot of shows and follow artists across a pretty wide musical spectrum – from metalcore bands like ERRA and nu metal bands like Deftones, to pop artists like Olivia Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams, to EDM artists like John Summit.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that one of my favorite parts of going to a show is figuring out what to wear. I genuinely love digging into an artist’s current era, picking up on the visual references, and figuring out how to translate them into an outfit. But the looks also have to work in real life – I only include pieces that I’d legitimately consider wearing to an actual show. Fighting for my life in the pit? Combat boots or sturdy sneakers. Attending an arena pop concert with reserved seating? I’ll consider heels, but they need to be walkable – and preferably platforms.

I’ve realized that the same question – what am I going to wear? – that I find so much fun can be a source of stress for a lot of people. That’s why I created Styled for the Setlist.

Here you’ll find curated concert looks at different price points, with links to shop the pieces and plenty of inspiration you can use to “shop your own closet.”

Because figuring out what to wear should be part of the fun – not the stressful part before a show!
